Lodge Details & On-site Facilities

Our Lodge is a well appointed property, set within over 20 acres of the Honicombe Holiday Village and sits on level ground, with on-site pools, fitness suite, reception, shop and pub all within 300m.  There is ample parking which surrounds our property.  The Lodge is very clean, spacious, comfortable, well decorated, light and airy and offers reverse-level living to take full advantage of the views overlooking the countryside from the large balcony on the first floor.  The village is a dog friendly environment and so to ensure the whole family can enjoy holidaying with us, we welcome up to two dogs to stay in our Lodge along side you.  We do not provide dog beds or throws, so please bring their personal ones with them.

As well as a 'Welcome Basket' to greet you on arrival, we provide bed linen and towels for up to six guests.

Ground Floor

* The hallway leads through the property to the stairs, bypassing all ground floor rooms. a cupboard which houses the meters, cleaning products, iron and ironing board. The flooring is laminated in order to maintain the condition of the carpets.

* There are three well-presented bedrooms, designed to ensure flexible sleeping arrangements, one of which is a double bedroom that has built-in wardrobes and patio doors, and two being twin bedrooms, both again having built-in wardrobes.

* There is a beautifully tiled and decorated shower room with a fitted shower, low-level WC and a pedestal wash hand basin.

* One 'Jack 'n' Jill' bathroom, (doors to both the hallway and the master bedroom) with a fitted bath, fitted shower over it, low-level WC and a pedestal wash hand basin, that is also beautifully tiled and decorated.

* Leading from the patio doors via the master bedroom, there is an enclosed paved patio area with a private hot tub, where you can enjoy the surroundings, fully relax and unwind, which is thoroughly cleaned, refilled and treated by professionals prior to your stay.

First Floor

The kitchen is modern, contemporary with fitted units and work surface, has an electric oven, dishwasher and separate fridge and freezer, also has a good selection of kitchenware, tableware and cookware.

* An archway from the kitchen gives way to the large lounge/diner which has two sofas and a large dining table with six chairs. There is a television and DVD player.  This room has a fully fitted carpet and other occasional tables.

* At the far end of the lounge another set of patio doors lead out on to a large and spacious decked balcony, where you can sit and admire the views over the village and countryside, use the patio furniture to dine al-fresco, sunbathe or sip something whilst you enjoy a good book in the peaceful and tranquil setting.

* The property is fully UPVC double glazed, has electric heating,  WIFI, a stairgate, a travel cot and high/booster seat.

After a fun filled day full of adventure, exploring, sightseeing or relaxing, use your evening to explore and have more fun, with evening entertainment offered on-site during holiday periods, such as children's discos, bingo, quizzes and live bands or at one on the local pubs, which often also have live bands playing.

Make the most of the superb on-site facilities, including a swimming pool, fitness suite, and a friendly pub 'The Honicombe Arms', which serves home cooked food and real ales. They do have a takeaway menu if you want to eat and relax back at the Lodge.

Or

After dinner, sink into the sofa and tune into the TV before dipping into the bubbling hot tub to truly unwind.

The use of the on-site leisure facilities are included in the rental of our Lodge.  The fitness suite and indoor pool are open all year except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.  Normal opening hours are 09:00hrs to 20:00hrs Monday to Saturday and 09:00hrs to 17:00hrs Sunday.  The small outdoor pool is only open during the summer months.
